The *Spur-winged Goose (Plectropterus gambensis)* is a large and widespread goose of Africa. The group in the photo shown here was along the Okavango River in Botswana in October, 1998. This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1N and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 1.4X extender on Fuji Sensia film.
