| The unidentified Peru dragonflies on this page were all along a forested trail in the Allpahuayo Mishana Reserve, Departmento de Loreto, Peru, in July, 2006. These images were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash. I think all of the shots on this page represent a single species, but I may be in error. All of these images are of males of various ages. If these shots do not represent the same species, then perhaps more than one closely related species are involved. |
