The Lancet Clubtail (Gomphus exilis) is a widespread Gomphid of the eastern third of the U.S. and Canada. The first two shots here, of a male, then a female, were both taken in July, 2005, along the Petawawa River, Renfrew Co., Ontario, Canada, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens with a 2X extender and 580 EX flash. |
