| The Nazca Booby (Sula granti) is a fairly common pelagic species in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Ecuador. It was only recently given full species status having been split from Masked Booby (Sula dactylatra). It is a fairly common nester on a number of the islands in the Galapagos. The first 2 shots shown here were taken in July, 2003 on the Galapagos Islands. These photos were digital captures with a Canon EOS 10D and an EF 70-200 mm F/2.8 L IS lens. |
