| The Hutton's Vireo (Vireo huttoni) occurs from the mountains of west Texas into montane New Mexico and Arizona and up the coast to the Pacific northwest. It is a fairly plain little bird that is quite inconspicuous except for its distinctive vocalizations. The bird in the top 3 images here was on Mt. Lemon, Tucson, Pima Co., Arizona, in May, 2008. These images were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 600mm F/4 L IS lens and 1.4X extender. |  |
