Sayornis phoebe
The Eastern Phoebe (Sayornis phoebe) is a widespread breeding flycatcher of the eastern United States and parts of Central Canada. The species winters in the southeastern United States and into central Mexico. The first image shown here was taken with a Canon EOS D60 and EF 600 mm F/4 L IS lens and 1.4X extender in Austin, Travis Co., Texas, in December, 2002. The next shot was taken in southern Tamaulipas, Mexico, in December, 2004, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 600mm F/4 L IS lens and 1.4X extender. Scroll down for other images.
