Harpagus bidentatus

The *Double-toothed Kite (Harpagus* bidentatus)** at right and below was photographed at Palenque, Chiapas, Mexico, in April, 1991. This species ranges from southern Mexico into the Amazon basin of Brazil and can be found in a variety of habitats. These photos were taken with a Canon T-90 & FD 400mm F4.5 lens with a 1.4X extender and Fresnel flash on Kodachrome 64 from a BushHawk shoulder mount.
