| The Elm Calligrapha (Calligrapha scalaris) is a species which is sometimes called Elm Leaf Beetle. This beetle feeds almost entirely on elm trees and many thousands may sometimes be found on a single tree. In July, 2009, I found perhaps 2000 of these beetles on the trunk of a tree near Wolf Creek, Ochiltree Co., Texas. |  |
