| The Aztec Spur-throat (Aidemona azteca) is a widespread grasshopper of many parts of Texas. The individuals in the first three images on this page were photographed in Austin, Travis Co., Texas, in November, 2009. These shots apparently show nymphs of this species. I thank Paul Lenhart at Texas A&M University for identifying some of my grasshopper species from photos. |  |
