| The Chalk-fronted Corporal (Ladona julia) mainly occurs in the northeast and northwest U.S., as well as parts of Canada. There are a number of records well south of this range, however. The first shots here were taken in Algonquin Provincial Park, Nipissing Co., Ontario, Canada, in July, 2005, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens with a 2X extender and 580 EX flash. |  |
