Side-blotched Lizard (Uta stansburiana)

The *Side-blotched Lizard (Uta stansburiana)* occurs across a wide area from the Pacific Ocean to parts of west Texas. It is quite variable in coloration and pattern and individuals from one area may look quite different from individuals from another area. The three shots on this page show a Side-blotched Lizard at the Petrified Forest National Park, Apache Co., Arizona, in August, 2012.
