The Zebra Swallowtail (Eurytides marcellus) is a butterfly of the eastern United States. It ranges west into east Texas, which is where the first 3 shots were taken. These first 3 images were taken in Jasper Co., Texas, in March, 2008, with a Canon EOS 40D and an EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
The next 7 images of Zebra Swallowtail were taken in Angelina Co., Texas, in March, 2010, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and an EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash.
