We were walking along a dirt road in the Sabine National Forest when a Yucca Giant-Skipper was spotted sitting quietly in the road in front of us. It was an extremely fresh individual and we were able to take a number of images of it. As we slowly tried to change our angle of view, the giant-skipper was startled, and took off like a shot, never to be seen again! I have about 15 images of this bug, pretty much all look just like this one.
