The Common Roadside-Skipper (Amblyscirtes vialis) is widespread across much of the eastern United States and well north into Canada. The one in the top three images on this page was in the Ouachita National Forest. McCurtain Co., Oklahoma, in May, 2011. These shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and a Sigma 50-500mm lens and Canon 580 flash.
