| The Byssus Skipper (Problema byssus) is an eastern skipper that rarely occurs in Texas. Martin Reid and I were visiting the Caddo Grasslands in Fannin Co., Texas in June, 2011, when Martin spotted this unusual skipper on a buttonbush plant. Later our photos were identified as this species, a very uncommon Texas record. |  |
