Blue-crowned Manakin
Pipra coronata
The Blue-crowned Manakin (Pipra coronata) is a resident bird from Costa Rica south to a large area of northern South America. It inhabits tropical lowland evergreen forest. The two shots here of a female were taken at Cana, in the Darien of Panama, in March, 1995, with a Canon T-90 and FD 400mm F/4.5 lens on Fuji Sensia film.
