The Striped Bark Scorpion (Centruroides vittatus) is a common resident all over Texas. In April, 2002, I was able to get some shots of the raised tail of a scorpion against the setting sun. This image was taken in Kenedy Co., Texas with a Canon EOS 3 and EF 180 mm F/3.5 Macro lens on Fuji Velvia. | |
