The Southern Pygmy Clubtail (Lanthus vernalis) is a very small clubtail of clear streams of parts of the Appalachians and the northeastern United States. The first 7 shots on this page were taken near Errol, Coos Co., New Hampshire, in June, 2010. These shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash.
