The Olive Clubtail (Stylurus olivaceus) is a dragonfly of streams and rivers in some of the lower elevations of the American west. It occurs in parts of California, Utah, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, and Idaho, generally at elevations less than 1000 feet. The 4 shots of males and one shot of a female on this page were taken along the Yakima River in Benton Co., Washington, in August, 2008, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
