Tennessee Warbler
Vermivora peregrina
The Tennessee Warbler (Vermivora peregrina) is a species which nests mainly in the boreal forests of Canada. They winter in Central America, the Caribbean as well as northern South America. The first 3 shots on this page show a spring migrant Tennessee Warbler at South Padre Island, Cameron Co., Texas, in April, 2009. These 3 shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 800mm F/5.6 L IS lens.
