MacGillivray's Warbler
Geothlypis tolmiei
The MacGillivray's Warbler (Geothlypis tolmiei) breeds in the western United States north to Alaska. Migrants may be found throughout the western half of Texas during spring and fall. The first image on this page shows a male MacGillivray's Warbler at Big Bend National Park, Brewster Co., Texas, in May, 2010. This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and an EF 800mm F/5.6 L IS lens and a 1.4X extender.
