Icteria virens
The Yellow-breasted Chat (Icteria virens) is considered to be the largest of North America's warblers. It is a common nesting bird in thickets and heavy brush across much of the United States and parts of Canada. The bird in the top image shown here was in the Angelina National Forest, Angelina Co., Texas, in June, 2008. This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 600mm F/4 L IS lens and 1.4X extender.
