The Northern Rough-winged Swallow (Stelgidopteryx serripennis) is a common nesting bird across most of the United States and Canada. It winters south into Mexico to Central America. The bird shown here was photographed in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, in July, 1991, with a Canon T-90 and FD 400mm F/4.5 lens on Kodachrome 200 film.
