| The Yellow-bellied Marmot (Marmota flaviventris) is a resident of montane areas of the American West. It ranges from parts of southwest Canada down to some areas of southern California and eastward into northern New Mexico. The first 2 shots here were taken on Mt. Evans, Clear Creek Co., Colorado, in June, 2001, with a Canon EOS 3 and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens on Fuji Velvia. |
