Powdered Dancer
Argia moesta
The Powdered Dancer (Argia moesta) is a damselfly of rivers and streams across much of the U.S. The first three photos here, of a male (at right) and female (next two shots), were digital captures with a Canon EOS 10D and EF 300 mm F4 L IS lens with a 1.4 extender and 550 EX flash. All three shots were taken in Travis Co., Texas in May, 2003.
