The Little Bluet (Enallagma minusculum) is a tiny damselfly species generally confined to parts of New England and a few areas of southeast Canada. The first 4 shots of male Little Bluet on this page were taken at the Second Machias Lake, Washington Co., Maine, in August, 2009, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and an EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash.
The next 3 shots of a male Little Bluets were taken at the same spot as those above, but almost a year later, in June, 2010. A Canon EOS 1D Mark III and an EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash was used to that these shots.
