Texas Gulf coast, shells on beach
Texas Gulf Beach. The Gulf of Mexico beaches which border Texas are always interesting. Most of them are sandy, but sometimes the beaches may be many inches deep in small shells. The shells shown here went on for miles one day in May, 2001, along the beach in Jefferson Co., Texas near Sea Rim State Park. This image was taken with a Canon EOS 1N and an EF 28-105 mm lens on Fuji Velvia film.
