Azure Bluet
Enallagma as per sum
The Azure Bluet (Enallagma aspersum) is a common and widespread damselfly of the eastern United States and southeast Canada. The shot of a male shown here was taken Tuscarawas Co., Ohio, in July, 2005, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens with a 2X extender and 580 EX flash. Note the extensively black abdomen with large amount of blue near the tip.
