Santa Fe Land Iguana (Conolophus pallidus)

The *Santa Fe Land Iguana (Conolophus pallidus)* only occurs one Santa Fe Island in the Galapagos, so it is truly a rare and endangered animal. It is related to the Land Iguana, which is more widespread on the Galapagos. The first two shots on this page were taken in August, 2010, on Santa Fe Island with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and a Sigma 50-500mm lens.
