| The Ruddy Copper (Lycaena rubidus) is a copper of the western United States and some parts of western Canada. The first shot on this page was taken at Blue Lakes, near Breckenridge, Summit Co., Colorado, in July, 2008, at about 10,000 feet elevation. This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash. |  |
