The Northern Pearly-eye (Enodia anthedon) is a widespread woodland butterfly across much of the eastern United States and parts of Canada. The first 3 shots on this page were taken at Marsh Pond, New York State Forest, Broome Co., New York, in July, 2009, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash. | ![]() |
