The Northern Broken-Dash (Wallengrenia egeremet) is a small skipper of eastern woodlands. Its range widely overlaps the similar Southern Broken Dash (W. otho) and both may be found together in many areas. The first 4 shots on this page were taken at Big Creek Scenic Area, Sam Houston National Forest, San Jacinto Co., Texas, in June, 2009. These shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash. | ![]() |
