The Great Basin Wood-Nymph (Cercyonis sthenele) is a locally common western species which occurs from northern New Mexico and Arizona north into Canada. The first 2 shots on this page were taken along Beaver Creek, Fremont Co., Wyoming, in August, 2008. These shots were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and Canon 580 flash. | |
