The Creole Pearly-eye (Enodia creola) occurs in the southeastern United States west to eastern Texas and Oklahoma. The individual in the first image on this page was in the Ouachita National Forest. McCurtain Co., Oklahoma, in May, 2011. This shot was taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and a Sigma 50-500mm lens and Canon 580 flash. Thanks to Nick Grishin and John Fisher for identifying this skipper from my photos.
