The Green Jay (Cyanocorax yncas) is a colorful and raucous jay of south Texas and Mexico. The first three shots were taken in November, 2004, in Starr Co., Texas. These shots were digital photos with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and 600 mm F/4 L IS lens. The horizontal shot at right was shot with the same gear in Hidalgo Co., Texas, in December, 2005.
