| Evening Grosbeak Coccothraustes vespertinus Mike Murphy Ranch, Travis Co., Texas 20 March 2015 Extremely rare bird in Texas. It had been perhaps 20 years since one was reported in central Texas. This bird only stayed for one day. The third of the three posted images of the bird show a Black-crested Titmouse in the background. Likely two species that do not interact very often. |
