Black-throated Blue Warbler
Setophaga caerulescens
The Black-throated Blue Warbler (Setophaga caerulescens) breeds across much of the north-eastern United States as well as south-eastern Canada. Its breeding range extends down the higher areas of the Appalachian Mountains into north-east Georgia. The male in the top 7 images on this page was photographed near Errol, Coos Co., New Hampshire, in June, 2010, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and an EF 800mm F/5.6 L IS lens.
