Dull-mantled Antbird
Myrmeciza laemosticta
The Dull-mantled Antbird (Myrmeciza laemosticta) is a resident of tropical lowland evergreen forest from Costa Rica south to Venezuela. It stays in the dense understory of the forest and can be very secretive. The Dull-mantled Antbird shown shown here was photographed Cartago Province, Costa Rica, in October 1995, with a Canon T-90 and FD 400mm F/4.5 lens on Kodachrome 200 film.
