| The Canyon Towhee (Pipilo fuscus) is widespread across much of the southwestern United States; it also ranges well into Mexico. The individual at right was near Buffalo Gap, Taylor Co., Texas, in December, 2005. The photos were taken with a Canon EOS 1D Mark II and an EF 600mm F/4 L IS lens and 1.4X extender. |  |
