| The Marsh Bluet (Enallagma ebrium) is another of the very similar species of bluets requiring care to separate in the field. It is usually necessary to examine the shape of the cerci in hand to confirm an identification of this species. The species occurs across much of the northern United States and parts of southern Canada.
