The Cocoa Clubtail (Gomphus hybridus) is a dragonfly of the southeastern United States where it usually occurs in the early spring. The species ranges west to east Texas. The first 9 shots on this page were taken in March, 2008, along the Angelina River in Jasper Co., Texas, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark III and EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender.
