The Beaverpond Clubtail (Gomphus borealis) is a species of the northeastern United States and southeastern Canada. As the common name implies, it is often found in beaver pond habitats and may be locally common. The first 5 shots on this page (3 females and 2 males) were taken at Tamarack Swamp, Clinton Co., Pennsylvania, in June, 2010, with a Canon EOS 1D Mark IV and an EF 300mm F/4 L IS lens and 2X extender and 580 flash. |
